Designed to prepare samples for analysis. Manufacturer notes: The standard toolset configuration includes 96-, 8-, and single-channel pipettors (with disposable tips to eliminate cross contamination), plus a gripper that moves plates and tip boxes around the deck. The multiple tools are available at any time; there is no need to drop one tool off before picking up another. The 96-channel pipettor enables the simultaneous dispensing of up to 200ul per well of sample or reagent in just a matter of seconds. The eight-channel dispenser is ideal for serial dilutions. The single-channel pipettor is able to access individual wells for 'cherry picking' operations. The Gripper is designed to remove and replace stacked plates and tip boxes, increasing sample throughput and application flexibility. In addition to pipetting, plate gripping, and moving capabilities, Cyberlab workstations can interface with other laboratory devices such as balances, mixers, incubators, heaters, vortexers, vial cappers/decappers and plate readers, as required for each application. This gives the user the ability to automate a full range of liquid handling and sample preparation steps. Applications include high-throughput assays, 'cherry picking' applications, plate replication and reformatting, PCR plate preparation, plasmid purifications, nucleic acid purification/isolation, DNA purification as well as elisa based assay automation.
