Pharmacia's BioPilot system is a flexible, fully automated, benchtop liquid chromatography system for larger purification projects, such as process development and small-scale production. The system offers easy scaleup from the FPLC. The BioPilot system can be used with a variety of pre-packed BioPilot columns for gel filtration, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction chromatography or with user supplied or packed columns.
